ABSTRACT
Lelo, S. & Kašić-Lelo, M. Genus Trichius Fabricius, 1775 (Insecta: Scarabaeoidea, Cetoniidae) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this paper general and specific data about genus Trichius Fabricius in Bosnia and Herzegovina is given.

SUMMARY
Mikšić has given the basic data relating to genus Trichius Fabricius, 1775 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in his research papers (Mikšić, 1949, 1950, 1953, 1965, 1970). Apart from R. Mikšić’s work, it’s only worth noteing S. Ognjeve’s papera (Ognjeva, 1951) dealing with dung betlees in Herzegovina. In this papera there’s also information regarding species of genus Trichius, Fabricius. In Mikšić’s works is important to emphisise that he has cited data for the genus within the second year of research: genus Trichius Fabricius, 1787.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, genus Trichius Fabricius is represented with two species: T. fasciatus Linnaeus, 1758 and T. sexualis Bedel, 1906.
By using presented data, we can conclude that two species Trichius Fabricius, were present in the 1775 as part of fauna of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been determined that these species have distinct diagnostic and taxonomic characteristics and that both of these species show sexual dimorphism.
In spite of that, according to literature and through examination of Lelo private collection, it was concluded that these are species which can be considered rare in Bosnia and Herzegovina, compered to other species of family Cetoniidae Leach, 1815 and that their distribution in Bosnia and Herzegovina is undetermined.
